This site is where I write about the process, progress, and things I’m learning as I try to build a more intentional life.
Right now I’m building Linghui, a Mandarin learning product, while using it to deepen my own practice and connection with Taiwan.
I’m also learning the part of product work that begins after the code: putting something in front of people, listening closely, testing how to reach them, and improving what they actually use. I write about what I try, what surprises me, and what I change next.

Making time for listening, speaking, and useful phrases so conversations with family and friends in Taiwan feel more natural.
Market experiments
Testing one question at a time, from positioning and content to email and onboarding, so product decisions come from evidence.
Writing
Making sense of the process as it happens: the progress, setbacks, questions, and lessons I want to remember.
Daily practice
Meditation, journaling, and a steadier bedtime give me room to think. I try to turn what I read into a concrete action or better question.
